I started this blog so that I could share all of the fun, artistic, and creative things that I have learned over the last couple of years. Before I had kids I never looked at myself as being a creative person. Now, fast forward 4 years and I feel like my eyes have been opened to so much and it is all thanks to my children. I have learned how to embrace the artistic side of photography, make an effort to dabble in my culinary skills, and also relish in the fact that, I actually do have an artistic side! And it is all thanks to Pinterest!
Becoming a parent has been the hardest yet most gratifying job that I have ever had. While my husband and I have played with the idea of me becoming a stay at home mom we have not taken that leap of faith for two reasons. 1.) I have a great paying job which also comes with 100% paid benefits and 2.) we both feel that our kids benefit both, socially and intellectually by attending daycare/school. I'm not saying that our decision is the right decision but for now it is the right decision for us and our family.
We have a 3 year old little boy who possesses every ounce of what a little boy should, including jumping off furniture, trying to ride his car down the stairs and of course rough housing with everyone in the house, including his little sister. We also have a 2 year old little girl who is a girly girl but she also stands her ground and won't take any garbage from anyone. They will both be talked about and photographed quite a bit on this blog since they are my reason for everything and most of all the reason why my heart is so full!
